What's new in RecoRadar this October
The follow-up test, the searches each AI ran, the sites they saw and cited, page watch, market scans and Google AI Mode: what RecoRadar added in October 2026.

A RecoRadar report used to stop at the first answer. Customers don't. Most of what we shipped this month follows the question past that point, all the way to the customer asking to book.
The follow-up test
After the first answer, RecoRadar now keeps the chat going the way a customer would, with 3 more questions in the same conversation:
- "Which of these is open on Saturday?"
- "Which one has the best reviews?"
- "Book me an appointment with the one you'd pick. If you can't book, give me their phone number and website."
The first real run was Tom's Town Distilling Co. in Kansas City, on Oct 26, 2026. Tom's Town was named in the first answer in 6 of 6 conversations with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. At the booking step it was still named in 3. Both Gemini conversations ended at J. Rieger & Co., and one ChatGPT conversation ended at West Bottoms Whiskey Co. Claude ended on Tom's Town in both of its conversations. The last turn gave a phone number in 6 of 6 and a booking link in 0.
Starter and Agency include the follow-ups, and they use 1 more audit.
What the AIs searched for, and what they saw
Each report now lists the searches every AI ran before it answered, with the number of answers that ran each one. These are the keywords an agency already knows how to rank for.
Next to them is every site that came back in those searches: how often it was seen, and how often an answer cited it. The client's own site is marked, and so are the rivals' sites.
Pages to work on
On Starter and Agency, RecoRadar reads the pages the AIs cite most after each audit. Next time, you see which of them added a rival, dropped the client or stopped being cited.
Those pages also feed a list of requests: the cited pages that name rivals and not the client, each with an email draft to send. You find the editor, and we link the page.
Market scans
Type a kind of business and a city. On Starter and Agency, a market scan lists every business Google Maps shows there, next to how many AI answers named it. Pick the ones to pitch and turn them into a prospect list.
Google AI Mode
Paid plans now ask Google AI Mode next to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Google has no official API for AI Mode, so its answers come from a licensed data provider, and every report says so.
How this compares, and the badge
Each report now shows the count for the middle business of its kind that we checked, next to the client's own.
A business named in at least 50% of the answers gets a dated "Named by AI" badge for its website. It links to a public page that shows the count and the questions it is based on, with the date.
Everything on one page
All of it, with the plan each feature is on, is now on the features page.
