Free AI visibility checker for local businesses

Find out whether ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini recommend a business when a customer asks for that kind of business in its city, and who they name instead. Both checks below are free and need no card.

Free audit: 18 answers from 3 AIs

We write 6 questions a customer might ask, such as "best dentist in Austin", and ask each one to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini with web search on. In about a minute you get a report: how many answers named the business, who they named instead and the sites they cited. The free plan includes 1 audit a month.

Free ChatGPT check by email

Not ready to sign up? We ask ChatGPT 2 questions your customers ask and email you what it says: whether the business is named, and who is recommended instead. No account needed. Get the free ChatGPT check.

A business counts as recommended in an answer when the answer names it or cites its own website. The name matches when it is close, allowing for spelling and word order, and the brand on its own counts too: "Dishoom" counts for Dishoom Covent Garden. One answer is one count. How RecoRadar measures AI recommendations.

Why check all 3 AIs, not one

The AIs often disagree. In the 15 audits we ran on Oct 16 and Oct 18, 2026, ChatGPT named the business in 40 of its 90 answers, Claude in 50 and Gemini in 49. Claude named Café Central in Vienna in 4 of 6 answers; ChatGPT named it in none. What 270 AI answers show about local businesses.

Check by hand

You can run the same check yourself: write the questions a customer would ask with the city in each one, ask them in all 3 AIs with web search on, and count how often the business is named. How to check if AI recommends a business.

Check again over time

AI answers change from day to day, so one check is a snapshot. Starter and Agency track businesses weekly without using audits, and show what changed since the last check. See the plans.

For agencies

Agencies send the report to prospects and clients with their own logo. White label AI visibility reports.
